Welcome to the club, Elena! I’ve worked where I’m at for close to 35 years, moved up to a senior executive position from an entry clerk-typist job, and I still wonder when they’re going to finally figure my charade out, and toss me out on the street, unceremoniously (whoever they are!)

I’ve been seeing a counselor for close to two years now, and he’s helping me to realize that I really am not a fraud, and actually got what I deserved in life. I even believe it (some of the time), now. He’s retiring in a few months. I wonder if I’ll be able to sustain this new sense once he’s not reinforcing me every two weeks?
