Very powerful, well-written and true. What I have seen in my lifetime is each time a group gets drunk with their power, they overreach and overstep, and are eventually checked by a system designed to check rampant power — this time looks much worse than others, but I have to hope, like you state here, that the overreach is so blatant, the reversal will come sooner than later, and be swift and usher in a new era of positive change. I truly hopes this happens in my lifetime, and it needs to be led by women and minorities — the old white men have done enough damage.

As for Alabama, I think Neil Young needs to add a few verses to his song about them. But then again, like me, he too is an old white man, even if our hearts are in the right places.
