Very powerful message, that needs to be heard by all of us. While I do see this changing, over the course of my career, it is not changing fast enough. I have always preferred working for a female boss, like I do now — for some of the reasons you mention, and just for the fact that they tend to be less ego-involved and more conscientious in their approach to leadership. I have worked for 5 female executives over the past 10 years, 3 of them as an executive myself. I’ve learned much more from them than I have from male bosses. I try to incorporate what I learn into my leadership style, and hope I am successful at that. Keep speaking the truth — society, and daughters (as well as sons) need to hear this!

Connecting the dots. Storytelling helps me to make sense of this world, and of my life. I love writing and reading. Writing is like breathing, for me.
