Also, I too had a letter from my Dad — actually, a couple — that were sent as amends for harms I didn’t even remember — but that brought a healing I didn’t think was possible. They somehow managed to heal the child in me that didn’t think his father loved him. They changed my life. I agree with your take on Christmas. Just a great read — thanks!
