Really wonderful write! We raised our son on, and at, Disney. One of the highlight moments for me was watching the Lion King show there, when he was 4 or 5, with him on my shoulders.

Of all the Disney movies, for a father and a son, that one had the most resonant message. Loved the broadway production of it, as well, which we saw with him when he was about 13. Great memories. Now, we’ll have to see if he’ll join us for the movie (he’s 29 now — but we still enjoy going to a movie with him, once or twice a year).
