I’m really glad to hear, and see, this. I did some writing for the Navy Memorial’s Log Blog a few years ago, and got to interact with a lot of active duty personnel in putting together some of my articles, and found this to be true. It was a joke in my time (served ’73 — ‘ 77), but I can’t argue with the care I received from the V.A. when I got out — they did me right.
