I’m glad it all worked out, after all of that. Given what you’ve described here, I’m glad you got out of that relationship — I can only imagine the hell it must have been to be in it with someone who would put you through all of this. I just don’t get people who find pleasure in messing with other people. What kind of sad, senseless depravity must they have going on in their own shallow psyches to need to resort to that?
