How is it that the likes of Oprah Winfrey and Jon Stewart, and all the rest that bally-hooed this musical, failed to see this? It is so blatant — I saw the musical at the Kennedy Center a couple years ago, and came away thinking “really?!? Everyone was all ga-ga about THAT? What the hell were they thinking?”
