Hang in there. It’s not easy, but the way I looked at it, I wasn’t easy for mine to parent, but they hung in there and did the best job they knew how. There were a lot of things they could’ve done better, but they did the best they could. When each of them were dying, I did the best I could — it wasn’t perfect, and I probably could’ve done better, but I did the best I could. I will never regret a minute of time I spent with them when they were dying. I’d give anything to have one more moment with each of them.
