Great story! Good for you, Sigourney! That is absolutely true. It’s all our choice how we respond to what gets thrown at us, and/or what we decide to throw back at life. We wouldn’t know what we are capable of if we never got challenged. I try to take each new challenge as an opportunity to learn more about what I am capable of — I usually surprise myself, even though it usually starts with the thought “Oh, no, not this, not now — just when things were going so well…” Afterwards, it’s more like, “Wow — I never knew I could do that!”
