Good one! It kind of reminds me of the flip of a song made popular by Joan Osborne back in ‘95, actually written by Eric Bazilian of the Hooters (almost famous band from Philly area), called “One of Us”, where the supposition is “What if God was one of us?” I’ve always believed we create our own heaven or hell, right here, right now, by the way we live, and how we respond to the world we find, here. It’s not up to God or “the devil” (if you believe in that) — it’s all on us. We make the choices that lead to one or the other, or somewhere in between. Obviously, this was a thought-provoking piece — nicely done!

Connecting the dots. Storytelling helps me to make sense of this world, and of my life. I love writing and reading. Writing is like breathing, for me.
