Authenticity trumps being “too cool for school” every time. There’s a groupthink that goes on in cliques like that, that require one to be rather shallow to buy into. Deep is not welcome there. Celebrate being authentic and deeper than the “too cool for school” set. Everyone has found their proper depth in the pool. I’m glad you found yours.
